KAIZEN Board is a tool for making KAIZEN activities visible. It can be used for the following objectives:
@ to control progress in line with the schedule,
A to check if the PDCA cycle is functioning well,
B to share information with other groups,
C to make an environment comfortable enough for members to freely exert their ingenuity,
D to realize what KAIZEN has been done and what to do next,
E to motivate the members among each other, and so forth.
When some information is hidden in computers, it is difficult for supporters to identify where to help. There is no need for the KAIZEN board to be artistic. Hand-writing will do. The key for successful use of the board is to show the current situation as it is.
